About the “Let’s Find Something New” EP
In the Spring of 2024, we decided not to write a book about our work together yet and instead decided to attempt to create a song about the spirit of the work at When & How Studios.
The song is called “Let’s Find Something New”. We hope you find some inspiration in developing or furthering your practice in bringing people together to meet important needs and finding a way.
Of course, we found, grew, and made new things in the process of making this song. As well as willing an unusual project into existence, we enjoyed experiencing what it feels like to work on a new creative act together as clients rather than our typical role as consultants and coaches.
We invite you to listen or make use of the song in whatever way is most helpful or inspirational for you. Our hope is that “Let’s Find Something New” helps influence when and how you find a way forward in your work, bringing people together to meet important needs.
On the EP we released you get to listen to the three different tracks (plus a bonus Demo Mix) that were created with the guidance and craft of Korby Lenker. Together, we gathered inspiration and cowrote lyrics as the process moved from exchanging rough cuts and riffs to a Nashville studio recording.

The Lyrics to “Let’s Find Something New”
Let’s find something new.
Let’s find something new, together.
Let’s find something new.
Let’s find something new, together.
Let’s bring a little bit of intentionality.
Could we be bold and invite a little tension into this thing?
What would you say if you weren’t afraid?
What would you see if you redrew the frame?
Let’s grow something new.
Let’s grow something new, together.
Let’s grow something new.
Let’s grow something new, together.
Can we make a good decision, one that we can explain?
Could we craft another story, one that we want to sustain?
What does it matter? How do you know?
Now take some time to reflect on where it could go.
Let’s make something new.
Let’s make something new, together.
Let’s make something new.
Let’s make something new, together.
Let’s find something new.
Let’s find something new, together.
Let’s find something new.
Let’s find something new, together
